CyberFirst

Led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), CyberFirst is a programme aimed at 11- to 17-year-olds in the U.K. Covering a broad range of activities, CyberFirst helps young people develop a passion for technology and provides pathways into cybersecurity careers. (ISC)² supports CyberFirst by promoting its activities and contributing to its events.

Cyber Security Agency (CSA)

Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and (ISC)² collaborate to enhance the professional pipeline and quality of the cybersecurity workforce, and to raise awareness about the need for continuous improvement for specialized cybersecurity competencies in Singapore.

Cyber Skills Framework

(ISC)² certifications are recognized as relevant certifications in the Australian Government ASD Cyber Skills Framework. The Cyber Skills Framework seeks to define the roles, capabilities and skills proficiencies that are essential to cyber missions, and that can be used in both the security and offensive contexts.

Data Security Council of India

Data Security Council of India and (ISC)² are strategic partners addressing the development and need of a skilled cyber security workforce in India and the region. (ISC)² is a member of the NASSCOM SSC-DSCI Working Group for designing and developing the Qualification Packs aligned with job roles in Cyber Security. (ISC)² was also a member of the Cyber Security Task Force, Skills Working Group.

(ISC)² supports the Defense Information Systems Agency's IASE Cyber Workforce Management Program (DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-m).

DoD

Department of Defense (DoD)

The (ISC)² CISSP®, SSCP®, CCSP®, HCISPP®, CAP®, CSSLP®, CISSP-ISSAP®, CISSP-ISSEP® and CISSP-ISSMP® certifications have met Directive 8570.1 requirements and are approved by ANSI to the ISO/IEC Standard 17024.

European Commission Pact for Skills

The Pact for Skills aims to get public and private organizations together and encourage them to make concrete commitments to upskilling and reskilling adults. (ISC)² has become a member of the Pact to help drive access to knowledge on upskilling and reskilling needs, to boost the skills of adults in regions and countries across Europe and to assist with driving digital transitions.

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), the UK’s tax, payments and customs authority has granted (ISC)² Approved Professional Organizations and Learned Societies status. This status validates the efforts of (ISC)² and its members to advance cybersecurity knowledge and skills, while UK members also qualify for tax relief on their own AMF payments.

Hong Kong Monetary Authority

Hong Kong Monetary Authority

(ISC)² CISSP, CCSP and SSCP certifications are included under the HKMA's Enhanced Competency Framework on Cybersecurity (ECF-C) as options available to banking practitioners for meeting the ECF-C requirement.

Besides, (ISC)² CISSP holders are acceptable cyber professional qualifications for conducting C-RAF assessments under the HKMA's Cybersecurity Fortification Initiative 2.0.

IRAP

CISSP is a ‘Category A’ pre-requisite certification for the Australian Government Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Registered Assessors (IRAP) programme. IRAP assessors have attained the necessary experience and qualifications in ICT, security assessment and risk management, and a detailed knowledge of Australian Government information security compliance requirements.

Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD)

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance cybersecurity capability for law enforcement officers. As part of the partnership, the TMPD will adopt (ISC)² credentials for selected members within law enforcement agencies throughout Japan and will provision official Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) training classes to provide its officers the highest quality cybersecurity training.

The European Union Agency for Cyber Security

The European Union Agency for Cyber Security (ENISA) has formed an ad-hoc working group through 2025 to support the governance, implementation, and evolution of the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF). Fifteen members and thirteen observers were appointed to the group. (ISC)² has been appointed as a Permanent Observer and Jon France, CISSP, and (ISC)² CISO will represent (ISC)². ENISA is critical to the implementation of consideration and implementation of cyber policy throughout the European Union. It acts as the agency’s dedicated body to achieving consistent cyber protections across the Union. ENISA contributes to EU cyber policy, enhances the trustworthiness of ICT products, services and processes with cybersecurity certification schemes, cooperates with Member States and EU bodies, and helps Europe prepare for the cyber challenges of tomorrow.

ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB)

(ISC)² is the first information security certifying body to meet the requirements of the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) ISO/IEC Standard 17024.

Australian Computer Society (ACS)

ACS is the professional assessment body for information technology professionals which recognize professional competence and ongoing commitment to ethical practice. The ACS recognises the (ISC)² CISSP and CSSLP as valid demonstration of knowledge, skills and experience to accredit towards the Certified Professional (Cyber Security) designation, while the SSCP is accepted as valid demonstration of knowledge, skills and experience to accredit towards the Certified Technologist (Cyber Security) designation.

Australian Information Security Association (AISA)

The Australian Information Security Association (AISA) is the peak industry body for cyber security professionals in Australia. AISA has signed a strategic partnership with (ISC)² that recognises (ISC)² certifications as particularly relevant to their members. AISA provide its members CISSP, SSCP and CCSP CBK certification training. AISA's partnership with (ISC)² also sees AISA host (ISC)² Chapters within AISA Branches under a Special Interest Group (SIG) agreement.

ECSO

International Accreditation Service (IAS)

(ISC)² is the first cybersecurity certification body in the United States to meet the requirements of AC474, IAS Accreditation Criteria for Bodies Operating Certification of Persons, and complies with ISO/IEC Standard 17024:2012 for its entire certification portfolio.

NTT Advanced Technology Corporation

NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (NTT-AT) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with (ISC)² to bring local-language cyber security education to Japan as part of NTT-AT's commitment to support a strong and skilled cyber workforce. NTT-AT has also adopted the CISSP and CCSP certifications for the cybersecurity workforce framework within the NTT Group of companies.

UK Cyber Security Council

(ISC)² is a Founding Member of the UK Cyber Security Council, the self-regulatory body for the UK's cyber security profession. (ISC)² is actively committed to supporting the Council in fulfilling its mission.

(ISC)² was awarded Winner for the Best Security Certification Provider category by the Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN) Women in Security Awards 2020. (ISC)² was chosen amongst all other organisations in the Australian IT, Cyber Security, Protective Security and Resilience industry for helping to inspire and support young women and men to consider a career in security.

Purdue University has included (ISC)² training and certification as part of a $12 million grant from the Department of Labor to establish a U.S. National Cyber Apprenticeship Program, titled the 'Purdue Cyber Apprenticeship Program' (P-CAP).

Tokyo Denki University

Tokyo Denki University offers the (ISC)² CISSP certification CBK review seminar as part of its Master's Degree program through the International Academic Program (IAP).

UK ENIC (previously known as UK NARIC)

The CISSP has been assessed as comparable to Level 7 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) in the UK, denoting that the certification is comparable to a Master’s degree standard across Europe.
